| How do you feel about being nominated as 1 of the1000best! |
It's an honor, of course, and certainly a matter of good fortune to have a nominator follow through for you as an individual when you consider that there is "specialness" in everyone. |
| What makes a person special? |
Someone to think of them that way. |
| If you could do something special for someone, what would it be? |
I believe in human potential, and that fear and guilt are destructive and limiting. Helping others to realize their fulfillment is always a worthy endeavor. |
| What's your most memorable moment? |
Standing in a field of golden grass with two feathers, one red, one white, and the most amazing woman in the world... |
| What would you like others to know about you? |
That I have a voice, and that it's available through my books and web page. |
| What's important to you, what are your values? |
I can live life in its most logical and practical terms, but I am a romantic idealist at heart, and without that, there is no fulfillment or meaning for me. Whatever created me expects me to live up to the latter, however challenging that may be. |
| What are your passions? |
Interacting with nature in a physical way: blading, cc skiing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, biking. The writing is an expression of what I find there. |
| What's the most amazing thing you've ever done? |
Past tense? But the most amazing thing I've ever done is ongoing. Each day I celebrate Creation and try to share it. It's an intensely active and all-encompassing life, and therefore difficult to share, except in a faceless way through my writing. Only Creation itself can make it spontaneous and personal by orchestrating a chance meeting of profound compatibilities. And then it is still only the prerogative of mortals to choose or reject. |
| What are your dreams and goals? |
To live every moment to the fullest, and if possible to share that. Also, to find in myself each day the positive energy and fearlessness to reach beyond all barriers and narrowness. This will bring me knowledge and beauty and joy, and if it's shared, then love as well. |
| If you could have one thing, what would it be? |
I would like to be miles above Tintern Abbey forever. And I would like to get there in an elevator. |
| What do you think is the secret to success? |
Being who you are, totally, fully, honestly, and reaching beyond in case there's more to you than you know. |
| What makes you happy? |
Being optimum -- body, heart, mind and soul. |
| If you had only one day left on earth, what would you do? |
The same thing I try to do every day. Live honestly to the limits of my capacity and understand everything around me. |
| If you were going to be stranded on a deserted island, what 3 things would you take and what 3 people would you choose to be with? |
Odd, because I've just discussed this with someone. There wouldn't be three other people. There would be one, and it would be the person I love the most. |
| What's something about yourself that nobody knows and is safe to publish? |
I'm actually a galaxy, and I'm colliding with another one. |
| What's your most humourous moment? |
I'm saving it for tomorrow. Always tomorrow. |
| What would you like others to remember you by? |
Giving. |
| What's your strategy for overcoming challenges? |
Stay positive. Do not focus on fears or dwell on things that offer others only weakness or condescension. |
| What's the best advice you could give someone who wanted to learn from you or achieve the same success? |
Don't wait for life to impose itself. Pick the best life and make it happen to the fullest. This isn't a dress rehearsal. It will only happen once, then be gone for eternity. Seize your moment and live it fearlessly. Anything less is a travesty against your existence. |
